Kiosk and Cologne

If there’s something in Cologne that you do not need to worry about finding, it is Kiosks, conveniently located throughout the entire city. Look over your shoulder, at every street corner, and you will find a Kiosk.

They are open conveniently late and are life savers during the summer days. “Netflix and chill” becomes “Cold beer and park”! Since there is always a Kiosk nearby, it is never necessary to carry more than one bottle. As you run out, pop into the next Kiosk, which will surely have a wide variety of cold beers and even refreshments.  A curious fact is that the kiosks will be 99% of the time managed by germans of turkish heritage. Even the word comes from the Turkish “köşk”, meaning “pavilion”.
